Futurology is a fast‑growing U.S. integrator and distributor of cutting‑edge robotics, automation, and emerging technologies. With a strong track record in robotics and engineering solutions across the U.S. market, we are expanding into agricultural drone systems. 

We are launching a new business division dedicated to importing, distributing, and supporting agricultural drones – including high‑precision spraying, spreading, and field‑mapping platforms. 

We are now seeking a full‑time assistant engineer who will become the primary U.S. expert for all drones, supporting dealer operations, troubleshooting, demo activities, and after‑sale service.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Expertise & Product Ownership:

  • Serve as the primary U.S. technical expert for all products. 
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of components, firmware, updates, and service procedures. 
  • Act as the technical point of contact between Futurology and engineering teams. 

Import, Assembly & Quality Control:

  • Inspect inbound drone shipments, verify completeness, perform initial diagnostics, and document results. 
  • Assemble, configure, and calibrate drones for dealers, demos, or internal use. 
  • Conduct controlled test procedures (flight or bench testing) in compliance with FAA rules.

Dealer Support & After‑Sales Service:

  • Provide troubleshooting, diagnostics, spare‑parts guidance, and warranty support to U.S. dealers. 
  • Perform repairs, component replacements, reflashing, and functional testing of customer or dealer units. 
  • Deliver remote or on‑site technical support to ensure dealer satisfaction and operational reliability.

Training, Documentation & Demonstrations:

  • Support dealer onboarding with technical training, demonstrations, and setup guidance. 
  • Prepare technical guides, service logs, troubleshooting checklists, and internal documentation. 
  • Assist with demo events, product presentations, and field support when required. 

Candidate Profile

Required Qualifications:

  • Legal permission to work in the U.S. 
  • Valid U.S. driver's license. 
  • Technical background in robotics, mechatronics, UAS, electronics, machinery, or related fields. 
  • Hands‑on experience with mechanical tools, electronics troubleshooting, and component replacement. 
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals. 
  • Intermediate+ English for communicating with dealers and reading documentation. 
  • Knowledge of Ukrainian is an advantage. 
  • Willingness to travel domestically for dealer support (approx. 10–20%). 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with agricultural drones (XAG, DJI Agras, Hylio, or similar). 
  • Understanding of UAS components (RTK systems, LIDAR, pumps, high‑volume sprayers). 
  • Experience in assembling or repairing machinery, robotics, or electrical systems. 
  • Field experience in UAS operations (Part 107 license is a plus but not required initially). 
  • Ability to work independently in a new business division.

  • Proactive approach and readiness to learn rapidly.

Employment Details

  • Type: Full-time, on-site 
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

  • Reports To: Division Head – Agricultural Drone Systems
