The Right Charger Keeps Your Robot on the Field
- The Standard Charger covers everyday lab and indoor use. The Go2 Charger cuts recharge time — critical when deployments are back-to-back and every minute of downtime costs you.
- Autonomous charging for continuous operations. The Go2 Self-Charging Board lets the Go2 return and charge itself without human intervention. The B2-Contact Charger Kit does the same for industrial deployments — the robot docks, charges, and redeploys with no operator involvement.
- Not sure which charger fits your setup? Go2, G1, B2, and A2 chargers are not interchangeable — and the wrong one risks battery damage. Tell us your robot model and how you deploy it, and we'll point you to the right option.

FAQ
What's the difference between the Go2 Standard and Fast Charger?
Both charge the Go2 battery, but at different speeds and for different use cases:
- Standard Charger: lower charging current, longer recharge time — suited for overnight charging, lab environments, or any situation where speed is not a priority
- Fast Charger: significantly higher charging current — designed for operations where the robot needs to be back in the field quickly after a session. Pairs especially well with the Go2 Long Range Battery (15,000mAh)
If your Go2 runs multiple sessions per day and downtime between sessions matters, the Fast Charger is the right choice.
What is the Go2 Self-Charging Board and when do I need it?
The Go2 Self-Charging Board is an autonomous charging station — the Go2 navigates to it and charges itself without any human involvement. It's designed for:
- 24/7 security and patrol operations where the robot must recharge and redeploy automatically through the night
- Long-duration research deployments where an operator cannot be present to manually swap or connect a charger
- Any workflow requiring continuous robot availability without scheduled charging interruptions
It is significantly more expensive than a standard charger because it replaces human labor in the charging process entirely. For occasional or scheduled use, a standard or fast charger is sufficient.
What is the B2-Contact Charger Kit and how is it different from the B2 Charger?
The B2 Charger is a standard cable-based charger — a human connects it to the robot's battery to charge. The B2-Contact Charger Kit is an autonomous contact charging system:
- The robot drives up to the charging station and makes electrical contact automatically — no cable connection required
- Designed for industrial facilities, warehouses, and field operations where the B2 must operate continuously with minimal human intervention
- At a significantly higher price point, it represents an infrastructure investment for continuous industrial deployment rather than occasional recharging
Can I use a Go2 charger on a G1, B2, or A2?
No — each charger is specific to its platform and battery voltage. Connecting the wrong charger can permanently damage the battery or the robot's charging circuit. Always match charger to robot model. If you have multiple Unitree robots, you need the correct dedicated charger for each one.

Do I need a special charger for the Go2 Long Range Battery?
The Go2 Long Range Battery (15,000mAh) is compatible with both the Standard and Fast Charger, but fast charging at 9A requires the Fast Charger. Using the Standard Charger with the Long Range Battery will charge it — just at the slower standard rate. If you specifically need the fast 0.8–1.5 hour recharge time, the Fast Charger is required.
