Do I need tools or technical skills to install?
No tools, no technical background required — all accessories are designed for quick field deployment.
- Go2 Head Shield: Clips directly onto the robot's head unit — no adhesive, no screws
- Go2 Mounting Kit: Quick-release system attaches to the robot's back rail without drilling
- G1 RoboTrax Footwear: Snaps onto the G1's feet in minutes, removable at any time
- No permanent modifications to the robot are required for any of these accessories.
What's the difference between RoboTrax Footwear and RoboTrax Footwear Pro?
Both fit the Unitree G1 humanoid. The Pro version features an upgraded outsole with better grip and durability for outdoor or mixed-terrain deployments. For controlled indoor environments, the standard version is sufficient.
What can I mount on the Go2 Modular Mounting Kit?
The kit uses the Picatinny rail standard — the same industry-wide system used across professional sensor and equipment setups.
- Sensors & Cameras: LiDAR, depth cameras, thermal imagers, action cameras
- Communication Equipment: Antennas, radio modules, signal repeaters
- Custom Payloads: Research instruments, inspection tools, or proprietary hardware
- What's Included: Main mounting platform, central rail, and 2 Picatinny adapters — supports multiple simultaneous attachments.
Does the Go2 Head Shield or Mounting Kit block the robot's cameras or sensors?
No — both accessories are designed around the Go2's sensor layout. The Head Shield covers the structural surface of the head unit while leaving the front-facing camera and depth sensor areas unobstructed.
The Mounting Kit sits on the robot's back rail, away from all primary sensing zones. The Go2's obstacle avoidance, navigation, and vision systems continue to operate normally with either accessory installed.
