Unitree G1 RoboTrax Footwear by Futurology

Unitree G1 RoboTrax Footwear is a precision-engineered, 3D-printed footwear system developed exclusively for the Unitree G1 humanoid robot.

Designed by Futurology, the system combines a rigid structural base, a flexible TPU upper shell, and a high-traction outsole to create a stable ground-contact interface for everyday bipedal movement. Each component is shaped around the G1 foot and ankle geometry, allowing the footwear to install directly onto the robot without permanent modifications.

RoboTrax is designed to improve practical contact with common real-world surfaces while maintaining a secure, purpose-built fit for the Unitree G1. Its modular construction also makes the individual components easy to install, remove, or replace when required.

  • Rigid Structural Base — 3D-printed left and right sole components designed to provide a stable foundation beneath the robot.
  • Flexible TPU Upper Shell — shaped around the Unitree G1 ankle and foot geometry for a secure anatomical fit.
  • High-Traction Outsole — textured herringbone tread designed to improve grip on a variety of indoor and compatible outdoor surfaces.
  • Tool-Free Assembly — snap-fit construction allows installation without permanent modification to the robot.
