What makes a technology company truly global? The key to business globalization lies not only in the quality of its products, but also in its ability to build strategic partnerships and develop infrastructure that operates across markets regardless of borders. The economic impact brought by a company to new regions is a critical indicator of its capacity not only to integrate its technologies but also to create added value for other countries' economies.

On April 16, 2026, Washington, D.C., will become the center of an important dialogue between Ukrainian business and U.S. lawmakers at the UA2USA Capitol Hill Business Dialogue. The event will bring together members of the U.S. Congress, business representatives, government officials, investors, think tanks, and the Ukrainian-American community to discuss the future of economic and technological relations between Ukraine and the United States. It is a platform where data and facts about Ukrainian companies form the basis for practical decisions, new partnerships, and the development of a shared economic agenda.

Today, Ukrainian businesses represent a well-established economic force operating within the U.S. market. With over $60 billion in revenue, approximately 300,000 jobs, and $24 billion in wages, the scale of Ukrainian entrepreneurs’ contribution is significant. Ukrainian-American companies are already strengthening local communities, creating jobs, and driving innovation. The next step is to transform this impact into new investment opportunities, support future reconstruction projects in Ukraine, and simultaneously contribute to U.S. economic growth.

During the event, the first results of the UA2USA Business Index will be presented. One of the key speakers will be Valerii Іakovenko, co-founder of DroneUA and Futurology, whose company has been operating at the intersection of innovation and business in Ukraine for 12 years and, since 2023, has been developing robotic solutions for American farmers. In his speech, the expert will share not only experience in integrating unmanned and autonomous solutions into the U.S. market, but also practical insights into building partnerships that enable Ukrainian tech companies to enter the U.S. market.

With its office in Pennsylvania, Futurology has proven through its own example that Ukrainian entrepreneurs are capable of being strategic partners for American companies, delivering effective solutions for key sectors of the economy, including agribusiness, energy, infrastructure, logistics, and technology services.

Among the participants and speakers are also representatives of the National Bank of Ukraine, Franklin Templeton, Nova Ukraine, CSIS, the Ukraine-Moldova American Enterprise Fund, business associations, think tanks, and technology companies.

The UA2USA Capitol Hill Business Dialogue will serve as a platform to discuss how Ukrainian businesses can adapt to the needs of the U.S. market, scale their presence, and become an integral part of economic development, creating added value for both countries.

Futurology expresses its gratitude to the organizers of the UA2USA Capitol Hill Business Dialogue — the UA2USA (Evidence-to-Action) initiative, ISE Group Think Tank, the Ukrainian American Chamber of Commerce & Industry (UACCI), as well as members of the U.S. Congress and the office of Congressman Mike Quigley — for creating a platform that elevates the Ukrainian-American economic dialogue to the level of strategic engagement. It is precisely these kinds of formats that make the contribution of Ukrainian entrepreneurs to the development of the United States visible to lawmakers, investors, and key institutions, while opening new opportunities for partnerships, investment, and shared technological growth.
