Ukraine is actively participating in the international dialogue, not only as a country in need of support but also as an environment where practical solutions are being developed for securing critical systems, rebuilding, and enhancing infrastructure. Ukrainian entrepreneurs are creating real value for the U.S. economy. The partnerships being built today are not just business opportunities—they form a strong foundation for modern diplomacy between our countries.
Ukraine's contribution to international cooperation is no longer limited to investments and technology; it is moving to the next level—transitioning from technological solutions to changes in paradigms of interaction between countries.
In this context, Futurology joined the Ukraine Action Summit 2026 as a technological integrator with a huge experience in unmanned systems, automation, and infrastructure solutions. Starting in 2023, the company works on a full technology implementation cycle—from field application scenarios to integration into large-scale operational processes. This became the foundation for building an effective model that allows for investment in the U.S., creating jobs for American citizens, and building bridges for future joint projects.
The role of Ukraine as a source of practical solutions for security, infrastructure recovery, and the development of resilient systems was a central topic at the Ukraine Action Summit 2026, held on April 19 in Washington, D.C. Organized by the American Coalition for Ukraine (ACU), the summit brought together more than 700 representatives from civil society, business, expert communities, and political institutions of the United States, discussing a shared understanding: Ukrainian experience is already the foundation for forming long-term partnerships between Ukraine and the U.S. The focus was on converting this experience into practical tools for global application and advocacy initiatives — turning these into specific political decisions through strategic dialogue, alignment of positions, and direct interaction with U.S. Congress representatives.
As part of the conference, Futurology participated in the Insight Track Panel 3 | Ukraine’s Strategic Assets, where Valerii Iakovenko, co-founder and managing partner of Futurology, shared his vision. Discussions were also joined by Oksana Markarova, Advisor to the President of Ukraine on Reconstruction and Investments, Andrii Shevchenko, Head of the Ukrainian World Congress Mission to Ukraine, and Marianna Tretiak, Chair of the Board of Directors, SLN, and Summit Committee.

New security realities have radically changed not only the working conditions for Ukrainian technology companies but also the logic of innovation development. Technologies that emerged in Ukraine are no longer just tools for local change but models for global partnerships. It’s not only about unmanned technologies or robotics but about the ability to create, scale, and implement solutions on a global level.
This environment has shaped a fundamentally different pace of work in Ukraine: what takes years in other countries for approval, testing, and integration, in Ukraine often happens in weeks from request to practical implementation. As a result, the Ukrainian market has become a space for rapid engineering and operational evolution.
During his speech, Valerii Iakovenko noted: “Ukraine’s technological ecosystem was built from scratch, continuing the long history of contributing innovations to global science and industry. Over the past three years, we’ve reached a new milestone: localization. Today, a significant portion of components is produced in Ukraine. This creates a strong foundation for trusted partnerships with allied countries and offers a model for building resilient, self-sufficient ecosystems.”

Ukrainian companies are increasingly not just recipients of external support but also participants in the U.S. economy — through job creation, infrastructure development, partnerships, and technology implementation in the U.S. market. This approach is forming a new model of interaction, where Ukrainian experience and expertise become a source of practical value for the U.S. Over $60 billion in revenue, nearly 300,000 jobs, and $24 billion in wages — this is the scale of the contribution of Ukrainian-American business. These figures reflect not only presence but also the level of integration into the U.S. economy.
“As of today, not only is America investing in Ukraine, but Ukraine is also investing in America. Our key task is to change the perception of what Ukraine means for the United States. This is a model of true partnership — when business becomes one of the most powerful drivers of international cooperation,” shared Valerii Iakovenko.
A separate part of the conversation focused on agricultural innovations, in which Ukraine has already built a large-scale practice of applying technologies. This includes the use of agricultural drones, their impact on production efficiency, and the potential for integrating these solutions into international markets, including the U.S. The key factor here is the trust from the U.S. in adopting and integrating the accumulated experience.
The final part of the panel discussion moved the conversation to a broader strategic level — from rethinking how Ukraine is perceived in Washington to envisioning what Ukrainian-American partnership will look like in the next five years. A key takeaway was that Ukraine is already a space where solutions are being formed that can influence the future of security, infrastructure, production, and technological interaction across other countries.
“Partnerships with Ukraine are not just investments. They are an opportunity to save time, reduce costs, and unlock great industrial potential for growth. This is a direction worth developing together,” concluded Valerii Iakovenko.
Participation in the Ukraine Action Summit 2026 marked a continuation of Futurology systematic work to develop transatlantic technological cooperation at the level of solution integration, localization, knowledge exchange, and building joint ecosystems between Ukraine and the U.S.
Futurology thanks the American Coalition for Ukraine for creating a platform that unites society, the expert environment, business, and political stakeholders around solutions that have a practical impact on the strategic partnership between Ukraine and the U.S.
