About
Unitree H2 Plus Ultimate-E
Full-size 182 cm humanoid robot with dual Dex5-1P tactile dexterous hands, 63 total DOF, 94 pressure sensors per hand, NVIDIA Jetson Thor AI compute, wrist RGB cameras and full secondary development support.
Ultimate AI Compute with Comprehensive Tactile Dexterity
Unitree Robotics presents the H2 Plus Ultimate-E — a full-size 182 cm humanoid robot representing the pinnacle of dexterous manipulation and tactile sensing in the H2 Plus Ultimate series. Designed for demanding research in embodied AI, advanced manipulation and human–robot interaction, this configuration combines high-performance onboard AI computing with detailed tactile perception and highly articulated five-finger hands.
Built on the H2 Plus Smart platform, the Ultimate-E integrates two Dex5-1P Dexterous Hands with advanced tactile sensing. Each hand retains the 16 active degrees of freedom of the Dex5-1 platform — 4 DOF in the thumb and 3 DOF in each of the other fingers — while adding a dense tactile sensor array for precise contact-aware manipulation.
What's in This Configuration
Dex5-1P Hands — 16 Active DOF with Dense Tactile Coverage
Each Dex5-1P hand provides 16 active degrees of freedom, with 4 DOF in the thumb and 3 DOF in each of the remaining four fingers. This articulation supports complex grasp configurations, coordinated finger motion and precise in-hand interaction across advanced research tasks.
The tactile system uses 12 sensor arrays per hand, producing a total of 94 pressure sensors. The array configuration includes 2×5 sensors on the palm, 2×3 sensors on each finger pad, 2×3 sensors on each fingertip and 2×3 sensors on each finger base across four fingers.
Wide-Range Tactile Sensing for Force-Sensitive Manipulation
The tactile sensors operate across a sensing range of 10 g to 2500 g and withstand a maximum non-destructive force of 20 kg. This range supports both delicate object handling and stronger contact events, making the hands suitable for force-sensitive manipulation, texture interaction and detailed haptic research.
Each hand provides comprehensive perception feedback, including joint mode, position, velocity, torque, temperature, voltage and current, pressure values, sensor temperature values and IMU data. This information gives developers detailed access to the state of the hand during manipulation.
Wrist-Mounted RGB Cameras for Close-Range Perception
Each Dex5-1P hand includes a wrist-mounted RGB camera with 1920 × 1080 resolution and a diagonal field of view of 130°. The cameras provide close-up visual feedback at the end effectors, complementing tactile sensing during precision manipulation tasks.
63 Degrees of Freedom — Advanced Whole-Body Dexterity
The H2 Plus Ultimate-E provides 63 total degrees of freedom: 6 per leg, 7 per arm, 3 at the waist, 2 at the head and 16 in each dexterous hand. This configuration combines dynamic whole-body motion with detailed finger articulation for advanced bimanual manipulation and human–robot interaction research.
NVIDIA Jetson Thor — Ultimate Onboard AI Compute
The standard PC3 computing module is an NVIDIA Jetson Thor delivering 2070 TFLOPS of FP4 sparse AI performance. Its 2560-core NVIDIA Blackwell architecture GPU with 5th Generation Tensor Cores is paired with a 14-core Arm Neoverse-V3AE 64-bit CPU operating at 2.6 GHz and 128 GB of LPDDR5X memory with 273 GB/s bandwidth.
The robot also includes an Intel Core i5 processor for platform functionality and an Intel Core i7 processor for user development. An empty PC4 slot is reserved for an optional Intel Core i7 module selected at the time of purchase.
High-Torque Joints. Industrial-Grade Precision.
Low-inertia, high-speed inner-rotor permanent magnet synchronous motors provide up to 120 N·m of torque in the arm joints and up to 360 N·m in the leg joints. Industrial-grade cross-roller bearings support high precision and load capacity, while the arms provide an approximate rated payload of 7 kg and a peak payload of approximately 15 kg.
Aerospace-Grade Construction & Quick-Swap Power
The robot is constructed from aerospace-grade aluminum, titanium alloy and high-strength engineering plastics. It weighs approximately 70 kg with battery and uses an air-cooled thermal design. The 15 Ah, 0.972 kWh smart battery operates at up to 75.6 V and provides approximately 3 hours of runtime. Its quick-release design supports practical battery replacement during research and testing.
Stereo Vision & Natural Human–Robot Interaction
A bionic head and face are combined with wide-field-of-view humanoid stereo cameras covering 140° horizontally and 102° vertically. Array microphones and high-power speakers support voice interaction and natural human–robot communication.
Connectivity, Interfaces & Open Development
The H2 Plus Ultimate-E supports Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2 and smart OTA updates. External interfaces include USB 3.0, USB-DP, GMSL, Gigabit Ethernet, USB 2.0, RS485, CAN and dedicated 12 V, 24 V and battery power outputs.
Full secondary development is supported through open APIs and an SDK compatible with ROS2, Python and C++. Deep system access allows researchers to build custom perception, tactile processing, control, manipulation and embodied AI workflows directly on the platform.
Designed For
Included Equipment & Development Safety
The standard package includes one charger, one quick-release smart battery and one handheld remote controller. A protective bracket is included by default to provide additional safety during development and testing.
