About

Description

XAG FBV3 Smart Electric Valve Body (L-Port) is a 3-way ball valve with an L-shaped internal channel configuration, designed for automated water flow management in irrigation systems within the XAG Smart Farm ecosystem.

The valve works exclusively with the FBV3i or FBV3e controller, forming a single smart unit for water flow control.

Key Functions

  • Water flow switches between two directions
  • Precise zone management (A to B)
  • Operation in automatic irrigation scenarios
  • Integration into the farm IoT system
  • Parameter monitoring (together with the controller)

Construction

Type: 3-way ball valve (L-Port)

Configuration: 1 inlet, 2 outlets (switching, not simultaneous supply)

Top interface for controller mounting

Pipe connection: threaded or PVC glue type

Material: UPVC (resistant to corrosion and aggressive environments)

How It Works

The L-Port valve has an L-shaped internal channel and directs flow either to one outlet or the other (no simultaneous supply). Switching is performed by an electric actuator via the controller. During setup in the XAG Farm App, the user selects the valve type (L or T).

Technical Specifications

Type: 3-way ball valve (L-Port)

Compatibility: FBV3i / FBV3e controllers

Integration: XAG Smart Farm

Housing material: UPVC

Protection: up to IP66 (as part of the system)

Mounting: vertical or in-line pipeline integration

Connection: PVC glue or threaded

Use Cases

  • Switching between irrigation zones
  • Sequential irrigation of different field sections
  • Fertigation systems (flow alternating)
  • Water consumption optimization

Application

  • Irrigation automation
  • Water flow management
  • Digital agricultural production
  • Integration into smart farming
  • Important Note

The FBV3 Valve Body is the mechanical valve only. Operation requires the FBV3i or FBV3e controller.
