XAG P150 Max: Advanced Agricultural Drone Solutions Now Available for U.S. Farmers
Published on  Updated on

With labor shortages and shrinking spray windows, U.S. farmers are under increasing pressure to complete essential fieldwork within tight timeframes. The XAG P150 Max, distributed through Futurology’s agricultural division, XAG Agrifuture, is designed to meet these challenges by providing high-efficiency solutions that prioritize productivity, reliability, and versatility for a variety of agricultural tasks. This allows farmers to transform workforce limitations into manageable opportunities, increasing operational efficiency across their operations.

Performance Built on Field-Proven Reliability

The XAG P150 Max offers a range of capabilities, including autonomous spraying, spreading, field mapping, and on-farm logistics. Thanks to its swappable task systems, farmers can change tasks within minutes, allowing for seamless transitions between different operations. With a maximum payload capacity of 176 pounds and a flight speed of up to 44.7 mph, the P150 Max is engineered to cover more ground and reduce downtime for refills.

Under typical conditions, the P150 Max achieves an average spraying productivity of 50-60 acres per hour, with peak performance reaching up to 70-80 acres per hour—among the highest efficiency ratings available on the market. Additionally, the drone's unique swarm control capability allows a single operator to manage two drones simultaneously, effectively doubling productivity when necessary.

P150 Max is not a prototype. Since 2022, XAG's P Series has accumulated over 9.3 million flight hours globally, establishing it as one of the most advanced agricultural drone systems available. It has been rigorously field-tested in countries like New Zealand, Bulgaria, South Africa, and Australia — regions with diverse terrain, irregular boundaries, and varying crop structures that mirror the challenges faced by farmers in states like Missouri, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, and the Carolinas.

Tailored to Alleviate Labor Constraints

For liquid applications, the P150 Max features the RevoSpray 5 system, which includes a 21.1-gallon smart tank with dual centrifugal nozzles, delivering up to 8.45 gallons per minute (GPM). An optional four-nozzle upgrade increases the maximum flow to 12.15 GPM, making it perfect for orchards and other commercial crops with dense canopies. The droplet size is adjustable from 60 to 500 microns, allowing operators to fine-tune applications based on specific crop protection products and coverage needs.

For spreading applications, such as fertilizer, cover crop seeding, and biological treatments, the RevoCast 5 system dispenses up to 661 pounds per minute. The vertical broadcast mechanism reduces wind drift, ensuring consistent coverage even on large or irregularly shaped fields.

Precision and Reliability at the Core

At the heart of the P150 Max is the SuperX 5 Ultra Intelligent Control System, which provides centimeter-level navigation using RTK positioning. The system also incorporates 4D imaging radar that detects obstacles such as center pivots, power poles, and overhead lines — common challenges on farms across the Midwest. The RealTerra Field Mapping System can survey up to 49.4 acres per flight, with onboard AI identifying field boundaries and obstacles, then generating autonomous flight routes optimized for the terrain.

Missions can be planned and managed through the XAG One app on a smartphone or the SRC 5 remote controller, with RTK positioning supported by the XRTK 7 mobile station in areas with limited or no network coverage.

Fast Charging for Extended Operations

To support extended field operations, the Smart SuperCharge Battery can be recharged in just seven minutes, with two chargers working in parallel and a mist-cooling tower to minimize downtime during peak workloads.

Futurology, through its agricultural division XAG Agrifuture, is committed to making advanced agricultural drone solutions like the P150 Max accessible to U.S. farmers, providing them with reliable, cutting-edge technology to optimize their operations. The P150 Max is built on a platform deployed in agricultural operations worldwide, with years of field use across diverse crops, climates, and terrains—ensuring that it’s ready for U.S. operations.
