A Complete Platform for Mobile Manipulation

The G1-D architecture brings together mobility, vertical positioning, dual-arm manipulation, tactile perception, visual sensing, and AI computing within one integrated robot platform.

Highly Articulated Upper Body

The robot incorporates two robotic arms with 7 degrees of freedom per arm, a 2-degree-of-freedom waist, and a lifting column. This structure enables the robot to position its hands across a broad working area and approach objects from different angles.

33 Total Degrees of Freedom

The G1-D Flagship platform provides 19 degrees of freedom excluding the end effectors. Two Dex3-1 dexterous hands add 7 degrees of freedom each, bringing the total configuration to 33 degrees of freedom.

Adjustable Working Height

The lifting column allows the upper body to move vertically, helping the robot interact with objects positioned at different heights. The official column lifting speed is approximately 60 mm/s.

Dual-Arm Manipulation

Two articulated arms and two tactile dexterous hands provide a hardware platform for coordinated bimanual manipulation, robot learning, teleoperation, and manipulation data collection.

Unitree Dex3-1 Three-Finger Dexterous Hands

The Ultimate C U8 configuration uses two Unitree Dex3-1 dexterous hands with force-position hybrid control and integrated tactile pressure sensing.

7 Degrees of Freedom per Hand

Each hand includes 3 degrees of freedom in the thumb, 2 in the index finger, and 2 in the middle finger.

33 Tactile Pressure Sensors

Each Dex3-1 hand incorporates a total of 33 tactile pressure sensors distributed across the palm, finger pads, and fingertips.

10 g–2500 g Perception Range

The tactile system has an official sensing range from 10 grams to 2500 grams

±2 mm Repeat Positioning Accuracy

The official fingertip repeat positioning accuracy is ±2 mm

Force and Position Hybrid Control

Dex3-1 combines force and position control for manipulation, movement control, and robot-learning applications.

1000 Hz Communication Rate

The hand supports an official communication rate of 1000 Hz for high-frequency control and feedback.

Joint and Sensor Feedback

Available feedback includes joint position, velocity, torque, temperature, voltage, current, tactile pressure values, sensor temperature values, and IMU data.

USB 2.0 Interface

Each Dex3-1 hand uses a USB 2.0 communication interface for connection and secondary development.

Wide Operating Temperature Range

The official working temperature range of the Dex3-1 hand is −20°C to 60°C

Mobile Differential-Drive Chassis

The G1-D Flagship chassis allows the robot to move through its working environment instead of remaining fixed to a stationary base.

360° In-Place Rotation

The chassis uses a differential-drive system and supports 360° in-place rotation, allowing the platform to change direction within a compact operating area.

Maximum Speed up to 1.5 m/s

The official maximum mobility speed of the G1-D Flagship platform is 1.5 metres per second.

Integrated LiDAR and Depth Cameras

The chassis perception system includes one LiDAR and two depth cameras for environmental perception and mobile platform development.

Collision and Low-Obstacle Sensors

The mobile base also includes two physical collision sensors and two low-obstacle detection sensors.

Integrated Visual and Environmental Perception

Multiple onboard cameras and chassis sensors provide visual and environmental data for manipulation, development, and data acquisition workflows.

Head HD Binocular Camera

The upper body includes one HD binocular camera for forward-facing visual perception.

Two Wrist HD Cameras

Each robotic arm is supported by a wrist-mounted HD camera for close-range visual information during manipulation.

Tactile Feedback at the Hands

Two Dex3-1 hands provide tactile pressure data from the palm, fingertips, and finger pads.

High-Performance AI Computing

The platform combines an onboard high-performance CPU with an NVIDIA computing module for robotics and AI development.

NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX 16GB

The high-computing-power module provides up to 100 TOPS of AI computing performance.
