About
D U9 Humanoid Robot
The Unitree G1-D Ultimate D U9 Humanoid Robot is a high-end dual-arm humanoid robot with a mobile chassis and advanced five-finger dexterous hands.
It integrates intelligent mobility with expressive manipulation for research, AI, and automation development. Built on the Unitree G1-D platform, the robot combines articulated robotic arms, a lifting column, mobile operation, perception sensors, onboard computing, and support for secondary development within one integrated system.
Designed for Mobile Manipulation and Embodied AI
The G1-D platform combines mobility, lifting, perception, dual-arm control, and dexterous manipulation in a single robotics development system.
Integrated Humanoid Architecture
The U9 configuration incorporates two seven-degree-of-freedom robotic arms, a two-degree-of-freedom waist, a lifting column, two five-finger dexterous hands, and a mobile chassis. Together, these components provide a total of 31 degrees of freedom.
Expanded Operational Workspace
The mobile lifting design combines a wheeled base with a vertical column mechanism. This configuration provides a working range from floor level up to approximately 2 metres, allowing the robot to interact with objects positioned at different heights.
BrainCo Revo 2 Basic Edition Dexterous Hands
The Ultimate D U9 configuration is equipped with two five-finger dexterous hands designed for precise and expressive robotic manipulation.
Each hand features a complete five-finger structure for advanced manipulation and object interaction.
Each dexterous hand provides 6 DOF and includes 11 articulated joints.
The hands provide repeatable positioning for controlled manipulation and data collection workflows.
An RGB camera is integrated into each hand for visual input during manipulation tasks.
The compact hand design has a total height of 160 mm
Two articulated arms and two dexterous hands provide a platform for coordinated bimanual manipulation research.
Autonomous Mobile Base and Lifting Column
The robot is built on a mobile differential-drive chassis that expands the working area beyond a fixed laboratory station.
Mobile Differential Drive
The chassis supports differential movement and 360° in-place rotation. The official flagship G1-D platform supports a maximum mobility speed of up to 1.5 m/s.
Precision Lifting
The lifting column has an operating speed of approximately 60 mm/s and a lifting accuracy of ±0.5 mm.
Chassis Perception
The mobile chassis integrates one LiDAR, two depth cameras, two physical collision sensors, and two low-obstacle detection sensors.
Upper-Body Perception
The platform includes one head-mounted HD binocular camera and two wrist-mounted HD cameras.
AI Computing and Secondary Development
G1-D is designed as an open robotics platform for data acquisition, model development, algorithm testing, and robot deployment.
The high-computing-power module delivers up to 100 TOPS for AI and robotics workloads.
The platform includes an eight-core high-performance CPU for basic system computing.
The G1-D platform supports secondary development for integration with custom robotics and AI workflows.
High-speed wireless network connectivity is integrated into the platform.
Bluetooth connectivity supports communication with compatible equipment and development systems.
The platform supports intelligent over-the-air software updates.
End-to-End Data and Training Platform
Unitree positions G1-D as an end-to-end platform that connects robot hardware, data acquisition, data processing, model training, evaluation, and deployment.
Streamlined Data Acquisition
The official platform supports a complete data workflow covering acquisition, processing, labelling, review, and data asset management.
Flexible Robot Configurations
Data collection workflows can support different robot platforms and end-effector configurations while maintaining standardized training data.
Model Training and Inference
The platform supports distributed training, custom model development, model inference, and deployment, with support for major open-source frameworks.
Simulation and Evaluation
High-fidelity 3D assets and simulation environments can be used for algorithm validation and model evaluation before deployment to the physical robot.
