This model, part of the H2 EDU Smart series, is engineered for cutting-edge research in embodied AI, dexterous manipulation, and human-robot interaction.
What's in This Configuration
Dex1-1 Advanced Grippers
Building on the foundation of the H2 EDU Standard, the Smart A variant is equipped with two Dex1-1 Advanced Grippers, each featuring a wrist-mounted RGB camera. These high-performance grippers deliver adjustable gripping force from 5 to 120 N, a conformal payload of 20 kg, and the fastest closure time of just 0.24 seconds.
With a fingertip position resolution of 0.1 mm, they enable precise and delicate manipulation tasks essential for advanced robotics research.
Wrist-Mounted RGB Cameras
Each gripper includes a wrist-mounted RGB camera with a 130° diagonal field of view and 1920 × 1080 resolution, delivering high-quality visual feedback for close-up perception during fine manipulation tasks.
33 Degrees of Freedom
The H2 EDU Smart A features a total of 33 degrees of freedom: 6 per leg, 7 per arm, 3 at the waist, 2 at the head, and 1 per gripper, providing exceptional dexterity and range of motion.
Expandable Computing Platform
At its core, the H2 EDU Smart A is equipped with both an Intel Core i5 processor for platform functionality and an Intel Core i7 processor for user development.
The robot also features empty PC3 and PC4 high-performance computing slots supporting optional upgrades such as NVIDIA Jetson Thor or Intel Core i7 + NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX for demanding AI workloads.
High-Torque Whole-Body Performance
Constructed from aerospace-grade aluminum, titanium alloy, and high-strength engineering plastics, the H2 EDU Smart A is both durable and lightweight. Its powerful joint motors deliver up to 360 N·m of torque in the legs and 120 N·m in the arms, enabling dynamic and precise whole-body movements.
Industrial-grade cross-roller bearings at the joints ensure high precision and load capacity.
Perception, Interaction and Connectivity
The robot features a bionic head and face, wide-field-of-view binocular cameras, and a voice interaction system with array microphones and high-power speakers for natural human-robot communication.
With Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity, the H2 EDU Smart A integrates seamlessly into modern research environments.
