About
Unitree H2 EDU Smart D
Based on the H2 EDU Standard platform, the Smart D configuration adds two Dex5-1 Dexterous Hands. Each hand provides 16 active degrees of freedom and uses self-developed micro force-controlled joints for accurate and highly flexible manipulation.
The advanced hand system supports proprioception without tactile sensors, providing position, velocity, and torque feedback for complex research and manipulation tasks. Each wrist also includes an RGB camera with 1920 × 1080 resolution and a 130° field of view for close-range visual perception.
With 63 total degrees of freedom, powerful joint motors, dual onboard computing, advanced binocular vision, voice interaction, and expandable AI computing options, the H2 EDU Smart D provides a complete platform for sophisticated robotics development.
Key Features
Two non-tactile robotic hands provide 16 active degrees of freedom each for precise and flexible manipulation.
Each hand includes 12 micro force-controlled compound joints and 4 micro force-controlled gear joints.
Supports position, velocity, torque, temperature, voltage, current, and IMU feedback without tactile sensors.
Each hand includes a 1920 × 1080 wrist camera with a 130° diagonal field of view.
Includes 6 DOF per leg, 7 per arm, 3 at the waist, 2 at the head, and 16 per dexterous hand.
Delivers up to 360 N·m of joint torque in the legs and 120 N·m in the arms.
Includes an Intel Core i5 processor for platform operation and an Intel Core i7 processor for user development.
Optional PC3 and PC4 modules support selected NVIDIA and Intel computing configurations.
Bionic head, binocular cameras, array microphones, and high-power speakers enable visual and voice interaction.
Supports open development workflows, SDK access, ROS2, Python, and C++ applications.
