Unitree Robotics, a recognized leader in advanced robotics innovation, presents the H2 Plus Smart — a full-size, 182 cm humanoid robot that takes AI development to the next level. Building on the robust H2 Plus Standard platform, this model integrates the powerful NVIDIA Jetson Thor as a standard high-performance computing module for demanding research in embodied intelligence, reinforcement learning and real-time perception.
NVIDIA Jetson Thor — Standard High-Performance AI Compute
The H2 Plus Smart features the NVIDIA Jetson Thor module, delivering 2070 TFLOPS of AI performance in FP4 sparse mode through its 2560-core NVIDIA Blackwell architecture GPU with 5th Generation Tensor Cores and 10 TPC Multi-Instance GPU support.
A 14-core Arm® Neoverse®-V3AE 64-bit CPU running at 2.6 GHz is paired with 128 GB of LPDDR5X memory at 273 GB/s. The system also includes a Vision Accelerator (PVA v3), two NVENC units, two NVDEC units and support for NVMe SSD storage through a PCIe interface.
Triple Onboard Compute Architecture
The robot includes an Intel Core i5 processor for platform functionality, an Intel Core i7 processor for user development and the NVIDIA Jetson Thor module for intensive AI workloads. An empty PC4 slot, using a form factor similar to the B2 card slot, is available for an optional additional Intel Core i7 module.
31 Degrees of Freedom for Whole-Body Motion
The H2 Plus Smart provides 31 total degrees of freedom: 6 per leg, 7 per arm, 3 at the waist and 2 at the head. This configuration supports fluid, human-like motion and provides a flexible base for research in whole-body control, locomotion and embodied intelligence.
High-Torque Actuation and Industrial-Grade Precision
Low-inertia, high-speed inner-rotor permanent magnet synchronous motors deliver up to 360 N·m of torque in the legs and 120 N·m in the arms. Industrial-grade cross-roller bearings support high precision and load capacity, while the arms provide an approximate rated payload of 7 kg and peak payload of approximately 15 kg.
Aerospace-Grade Construction and Quick-Swap Power
Constructed from aerospace-grade aluminum, titanium alloy and high-strength engineering plastics, the H2 Plus Smart weighs approximately 70 kg with battery. The air-cooled system uses a 15 Ah, 0.972 kWh smart battery with a maximum voltage of 75.6 V and approximately 3 hours of runtime.
Wide-FOV Stereo Vision for Real-Time Perception
The humanoid stereo camera system provides a horizontal field of view of 140°±3 and a vertical field of view of 102°±3. It uses an aperture of 2.0, a focal length of 2.67 mm, global shutter imaging and a depth of field from 0.4 m to infinity.
Bionic Head, Voice Interaction and Connectivity
The robot features a bionic head and face with a customizable standard face design. Array microphones and high-power speakers support natural voice interaction, while Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 enable integration into modern research environments.
Rich External Interfaces for Flexible Integration
The H2 Plus Smart offers USB 3.0 ×3, USB-DP ×3, GMSL ×4, Gigabit Ethernet ×4, USB 2.0 ×2, RS485 ×4 and CAN ×2. Power outputs include 12V ×1, 24V ×2 and BAT ×1, supporting flexible integration with sensors, computing modules and external devices.
Optional Dexterous Hands and Wrist Cameras
Dexterous hands and wrist cameras are available as paid upgrades, allowing the platform to be expanded for manipulation and close-range perception research. These upgrades must be selected at the time of purchase and cannot be added later.
Full Secondary Development
The H2 Plus Smart supports full secondary development through open APIs, deep system access and SDK support for ROS2, Python and C++. Researchers can build custom perception, control, reinforcement learning and embodied AI workflows directly on the platform.
Included Equipment and Development Safety
The standard package includes one charger, one quick-release smart battery and one handheld remote controller. A protective bracket is included by default to support safer development and testing.
