About
Unitree H2 Plus Ultimate-I
Full-size 182 cm humanoid robot with dual Inspire E2 tactile five-finger dexterous hands, 43 total DOF, NVIDIA Jetson Thor AI compute, 17 tactile sensors per hand, wrist RGB cameras and full secondary development support.
Ultimate AI Compute with High-Force Tactile Dexterity
Unitree Robotics presents the H2 Plus Ultimate-I — a full-size 182 cm humanoid robot combining flagship AI computing with advanced five-finger dexterous manipulation and comprehensive tactile sensing. As part of the H2 Plus Ultimate series, this configuration is engineered for cutting-edge research in embodied AI, robotic manipulation and human–robot interaction.
Built on the H2 Plus Smart platform, the Ultimate-I integrates two Inspire E2 Five-Finger Dexterous Hands with tactile feedback. Each hand provides 6 degrees of freedom across 12 joints, a thumb fingertip grip force of 30 N and a four-finger fingertip grip force of 28 N. This combination supports robust object handling while preserving the precision required for complex research applications.
What's in This Configuration
Inspire E2 Hands — Strong Gripping with Comprehensive Tactile Feedback
Each Inspire E2 hand combines five-finger articulation with 6 active degrees of freedom and 12 joints. A repeatability of ±0.20 mm supports consistent and accurate positioning, while the hand's fingertip forces provide robust handling of objects during demanding manipulation tasks.
The thumb delivers up to 30 N of fingertip grip force, while the four fingers provide up to 28 N. Each hand integrates 17 tactile sensors with a measurement range of 0–30 N and an accuracy of ≤5% FS, enabling precise force detection and more nuanced control during object contact.
The thumb reaches a lateral swing speed above 130°/s and a flexion speed above 130°/s, while the four fingers exceed 200°/s. A palm closing time of 0.8 seconds supports responsive grasp execution. Each hand also includes a wrist-mounted RGB camera with 1920 × 1080 resolution and a diagonal field of view of 130°.
17 Sensors Per Hand — Detailed Force Detection
The tactile system measures contact forces across a 0–30 N range with an accuracy of ≤5% FS. With 17 sensors distributed across each hand, the robot can detect changing force conditions during grasping and manipulation, providing researchers with more detailed feedback for contact-aware control.
43 Degrees of Freedom — Coordinated Whole-Body Motion
The H2 Plus Ultimate-I provides 43 total degrees of freedom: 6 per leg, 7 per arm, 3 at the waist, 2 at the head and 6 in each dexterous hand. This configuration supports dynamic whole-body motion, coordinated arm and hand control, precise posture adjustment and flexible interaction throughout the robot's workspace.
NVIDIA Jetson Thor — Ultimate Onboard AI Compute
The standard PC3 computing module is an NVIDIA Jetson Thor delivering 2070 TFLOPS of FP4 sparse AI performance. Its 2560-core NVIDIA Blackwell architecture GPU with 5th Generation Tensor Cores is paired with a 14-core Arm Neoverse-V3AE 64-bit CPU operating at 2.6 GHz and 128 GB of LPDDR5X memory with 273 GB/s bandwidth.
The robot also includes an Intel Core i5 processor for platform functionality and an Intel Core i7 processor for user development. An empty PC4 slot is reserved for an optional Intel Core i7 module selected at the time of purchase.
High-Torque Joints. Industrial-Grade Precision.
Low-inertia, high-speed inner-rotor permanent magnet synchronous motors provide up to 120 N·m of torque in the arm joints and up to 360 N·m in the leg joints. Industrial-grade cross-roller bearings support high precision and load capacity, while the arms provide an approximate rated payload of 7 kg and a peak payload of approximately 15 kg.
Aerospace-Grade Construction & Quick-Swap Power
The robot is constructed from aerospace-grade aluminum, titanium alloy and high-strength engineering plastics. It weighs approximately 70 kg with battery and uses an air-cooled thermal design. The 15 Ah, 0.972 kWh smart battery operates at up to 75.6 V and provides approximately 3 hours of runtime. Its quick-release design supports practical battery replacement during research and testing.
Stereo Vision, Wrist Cameras & Natural Interaction
A bionic head and face are combined with wide-field-of-view humanoid stereo cameras covering 140° horizontally and 102° vertically. Wrist-mounted RGB cameras provide close-range visual feedback, while tactile sensors add contact information during manipulation. Array microphones and high-power speakers support voice interaction and natural human–robot communication.
Connectivity, Interfaces & Open Development
The H2 Plus Ultimate-I supports Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2 and smart OTA updates. External interfaces include USB 3.0, USB-DP, GMSL, Gigabit Ethernet, USB 2.0, RS485, CAN and dedicated 12 V, 24 V and battery power outputs.
Full secondary development is supported through open APIs and an SDK compatible with ROS2, Python and C++. Deep system access allows researchers to build custom perception, control, manipulation and embodied AI workflows directly on the platform.
Designed For
Included Equipment & Development Safety
The standard package includes one charger, one quick-release smart battery and one handheld remote controller. A protective bracket is included by default to provide additional safety during development and testing.
