About
Unitree H2 Plus Ultimate-L
Full-size 182 cm humanoid robot with dual BrainCo Revo 3 U21VT visuo-tactile hands, 73 total DOF, 0.01 N palm tactile resolution, 130 µm deformation sensing, ultra-wide Senyun SHF3L wrist cameras, NVIDIA Jetson Thor AI compute and full secondary development support.
The Pinnacle of Visuo-Tactile Dexterity and Onboard AI
Unitree Robotics presents the H2 Plus Ultimate-L — a full-size 182 cm humanoid robot representing the highest level of dexterous manipulation and visuo-tactile sensing capability in the H2 Plus Ultimate series. Designed for the most demanding research in embodied AI, advanced manipulation and human–robot interaction, this configuration combines highly articulated visuo-tactile hands, ultra-wide wrist vision and flagship NVIDIA Jetson Thor computing.
Built on the H2 Plus Smart platform, the Ultimate-L integrates two BrainCo Revo 3 U21VT Dexterous Hands. Each hand provides 21 active degrees of freedom, with 4 DOF in each of the four fingers and 5 DOF in the thumb, enabling intricate finger positioning, varied grasp postures and complex manipulation strategies.
What's in This Configuration
BrainCo Revo 3 U21VT — 21 Active DOF with Visuo-Tactile Feedback
Each BrainCo Revo 3 U21VT hand provides 21 active degrees of freedom, with 4 DOF in each of the index, middle, ring and little fingers and 5 DOF in the thumb. This architecture supports intricate finger articulation, varied grasp postures and detailed manipulation across advanced research tasks.
The hands deliver a 20 N fingertip pinch force for controlled interaction with smaller objects and a 70 N full palm grip force for secure whole-hand grasping. The visuo-tactile system adds detailed contact and deformation feedback for delicate object handling and fine manipulation.
Ultra-High Sensitivity for Delicate and Micro-Scale Interaction
The full-palm tactile system provides a resolution of 0.01 N, allowing the hand to detect very small changes in contact force. A minimum measurable deformation of 130 µm adds another layer of sensitivity, supporting delicate object handling, texture recognition and micro-manipulation research.
Fast 3 Hz Motion with 500 Hz Control
The hands reach a maximum opening and closing speed of 3 Hz and operate at a control frequency of 500 Hz. This performance supports rapid finger motion, responsive grasp execution and precise control during dynamic manipulation.
A wide operating voltage range of 12–80 V provides flexibility for power integration within the H2 Plus Ultimate-L platform.
Senyun SHF3L — Ultra-Wide Vision at the Wrist
Each hand includes a Senyun SHF3L wrist camera with bracket and cables. The compact module weighs less than 50 g and measures 25 × 25 × 33.54 mm, providing close-range visual feedback without adding significant bulk at the wrist.
The camera delivers an ultra-wide 196° horizontal field of view and records at 1920 × 1536 resolution at 30 fps. Its RGGB sensor, built-in ISP and YUV422 8-bit output provide processed image data for visual perception during fine manipulation.
Wide Operating Range & Jetson Thor Compatibility
The Senyun SHF3L operates across a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C and uses a rolling-shutter sensor architecture. Compatibility with NVIDIA Jetson AGX Thor supports direct integration with high-performance onboard AI computing.
73 Degrees of Freedom — Maximum Whole-Body Dexterity
The H2 Plus Ultimate-L provides 73 total degrees of freedom: 6 per leg, 7 per arm, 3 at the waist, 2 at the head and 21 in each dexterous hand. This configuration combines dynamic whole-body motion with exceptionally detailed visuo-tactile hand control for advanced bimanual manipulation and human–robot interaction research.
NVIDIA Jetson Thor — Ultimate Onboard AI Compute
The standard PC3 computing module is an NVIDIA Jetson Thor delivering 2070 TFLOPS of FP4 sparse AI performance. Its 2560-core NVIDIA Blackwell architecture GPU with 5th Generation Tensor Cores is paired with a 14-core Arm Neoverse-V3AE 64-bit CPU operating at 2.6 GHz and 128 GB of LPDDR5X memory with 273 GB/s bandwidth.
The robot also includes an Intel Core i5 processor for platform functionality and an Intel Core i7 processor for user development. An empty PC4 slot is reserved for an optional Intel Core i7 module selected at the time of purchase.
High-Torque Joints. Industrial-Grade Precision.
Low-inertia, high-speed inner-rotor permanent magnet synchronous motors provide up to 120 N·m of torque in the arm joints and up to 360 N·m in the leg joints. Industrial-grade cross-roller bearings support high precision and load capacity, while the arms provide an approximate rated payload of 7 kg and a peak payload of approximately 15 kg.
Aerospace-Grade Construction & Quick-Swap Power
The robot is constructed from aerospace-grade aluminum, titanium alloy and high-strength engineering plastics. It weighs approximately 70 kg with battery and uses an air-cooled thermal design. The 15 Ah, 0.972 kWh smart battery operates at up to 75.6 V and provides approximately 3 hours of runtime. Its quick-release design supports practical battery replacement during research and testing.
Stereo Vision & Natural Human–Robot Interaction
A bionic head and face are combined with wide-field-of-view humanoid stereo cameras covering 140° horizontally and 102° vertically. Array microphones and high-power speakers support voice interaction and natural human–robot communication.
Connectivity, Interfaces & Open Development
The H2 Plus Ultimate-L supports Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2 and smart OTA updates. External interfaces include USB 3.0, USB-DP, GMSL, Gigabit Ethernet, USB 2.0, RS485, CAN and dedicated 12 V, 24 V and battery power outputs.
Full secondary development is supported through open APIs and an SDK compatible with ROS2, Python and C++. Deep system access allows researchers to build custom perception, visuo-tactile processing, control, manipulation and embodied AI workflows directly on the platform.
