Unitree R1 EDU U3 (Pro A) expands the 26-DOF R1 EDU platform with two Dex3-1 force-controlled three-finger hands. Each hand contributes 7 degrees of freedom, bringing the complete robot to 40 total joint motors.

The platform combines 100 TOPS computing, stereo and wrist-mounted cameras, high-level and low-level customization, robot models, simulation interfaces, and support for environments such as Isaac Sim.

The 26-DOF humanoid base is combined with two 7-DOF Dex3-1 hands, resulting in 40 total joint motors across the complete robot.

Dex3-1 Three-Finger Hands

Two force-controlled three-finger hands provide 7 DOF each: 3 at the thumb, 2 at the index finger, and 2 at the middle finger. This U3 configuration is specified without tactile sensing.

100 TOPS Computing

The built-in docking station provides 100 TOPS of computing power, is open for secondary development, and includes AI algorithm technical support.

Stereo + Wrist-Mounted Vision

Perception hardware includes a stereo camera and wrist-mounted camera, with the R1 LiDAR kit available as an optional upgrade.
