Unitree R1 EDU U7 (Pro E) builds on the R1 EDU Smart platform and adds two LinkerBot dexterous hands for complex manipulation, object grasping, and human–robot interaction research. Each hand provides 6 degrees of freedom, bringing the complete system to 38 total joint motors.

The U7 configuration combines an upgraded 100 TOPS onboard computing dock with humanoid stereo cameras, wrist-mounted RGB cameras, high-level and low-level secondary development, robot models, simulation interfaces, and support for environments such as Isaac Sim.
