Advanced Humanoid Platform for Dexterous Manipulation & AI Research
Unitree R1 EDU U7 (Pro E) builds on the R1 EDU Smart platform and adds two LinkerBot dexterous hands for complex manipulation, object grasping, and human–robot interaction research. Each hand provides 6 degrees of freedom, bringing the complete system to 38 total joint motors.
The U7 configuration combines an upgraded 100 TOPS onboard computing dock with humanoid stereo cameras, wrist-mounted RGB cameras, high-level and low-level secondary development, robot models, simulation interfaces, and support for environments such as Isaac Sim.

The 26-DOF R1 EDU body is paired with two 6-DOF LinkerBot dexterous hands, resulting in 38 total joint motors across the complete system.

Two non-tactile LinkerBot hands provide 6 degrees of freedom per hand and are intended for grasping, object manipulation, and human–robot interaction research.
100 TOPS AI Computing
The upgraded onboard computing dock delivers 100 TOPS and supports secondary development together with AI algorithm technical support.
Stereo + Wrist-Mounted Vision
The perception setup combines anthropomorphic stereo cameras with wrist-mounted RGB cameras. The R1 LiDAR kit is available as an optional upgrade.

R1 EDU U7 integrates two LinkerBot dexterous hands in the non-tactile configuration. Each hand provides 6 degrees of freedom and includes a wrist-mounted RGB camera for close-range perception during manipulation tasks.
