VR Full-Body Teleoperation adds an immersive VR control layer to compatible Unitree humanoid robots, allowing an operator to control full-body movements through mapped body motion.

Designed for robotics research, education, demonstrations, telepresence, and controlled testing, the system connects operator movements with the robot's motion while providing a supervised teleoperation workflow.

Compatibility Requirement

Requires a compatible Unitree G1 EDU+ (U2) or higher model required. The robot is not included in the $3,999 price.

  • Full-Body Motion Mapping — maps the operator's body movements to the humanoid robot, supporting coordinated control of the upper and lower body.
  • Immersive VR Control — provides an immersive operator interface through a compatible VR headset for real-time teleoperation.
  • Walking & Locomotion Control — supports full-body teleoperation including bipedal walking and lower-body movement on compatible platforms.
  • Arm & Hand Control — enables mapped control of the robot's arms and hands, with supported functionality depending on the robot's installed hand configuration.
  • Motion Data & Session Recording — teleoperation sessions can be recorded and replayed for research, analysis, training, and workflow development.
  • Configurable Safety Boundaries — supports defined operating zones and configurable safety limits as part of a supervised deployment setup.

Technical Integration:

Custom software maps human skeletal coordinates to the robot's joint coordinates using the NVIDIA GR00T Whole-Body Control framework and Unitree SDK.
