Why Farms Are Switching to Drone Spraying

  • XAG P150 Max replaces manual and tractor-based spraying with precise, GPS-guided application — reducing chemical overuse, soil compaction, and labor hours on every field.
  • Choose your power tier based on your acreage: 7KW kits cover smaller and mid-size operations, 14KW kits add capacity for longer days and heavier workloads, and the 28KW Swarm kit coordinates multiple drones for large-scale and fleet operations.
  • Every XAG P150 Max kit purchase includes onboarding support — our specialists help with setup, flight planning, and operator training so your team is flying confidently from day one.

Precision Application

GPS-guided spray paths apply exactly where needed — reducing chemical waste and overlap compared to manual or tractor spraying.

Faster Field Coverage

Cover large fields in a fraction of the time it takes with ground equipment — especially valuable during tight spraying windows.

Scalable Fleet

Start with a single 7KW or 14KW drone and scale up to a coordinated 28KW Swarm setup as your acreage and workload grow.

Lower Operating Costs

Less chemical waste, less fuel, less labor per hectare — drone spraying typically pays for itself over a season of use.

Find the Right XAG P150 Max Kit for Your Farm

From a single Starter kit to a full Swarm setup — each configuration is built around battery and charger count to match your daily flight schedule and field size. Not sure which kit fits your operation? Our team will help you calculate the right setup based on your acreage and spraying needs.

FAQ

1

What's the difference between the Starter, Standard, and Ultimate kits?

The XAG P150 Max lineup is divided into several configurations, each built around a different battery and charger setup.

  • Starter 7KW 2B2C: The most affordable entry point — two batteries and two chargers. Best for smaller farms or first-time drone operators getting started with precision spraying.
  • Standard 7KW 6B2C / 14KW 4B4C: More batteries and/or chargers for longer continuous operation — allows more flights per day without waiting for recharge cycles.
  • Ultimate 14KW 6B4C: The highest-capacity single-drone configuration, with the most batteries and chargers for maximum daily flight time, plus RevoCast for spreading applications.

Choosing between them mainly comes down to how many hectares you need to cover per day and how many flights your team can realistically manage.

2

What іs RevoCast and do you need it?

RevoCast is XAG's smart spreading system, used for distributing granules, pellets, and seeds — as an alternative or addition to liquid spraying.

  • What It Does: Adds precision spreading capability to your drone — granules, pellets, and seeds — alongside or instead of liquid spraying.
  • Ultimate Kit Options: Comes in two versions — with RevoCast and without — so you can choose based on whether your operation needs spreading capability.
  • Spraying Only: If your farm only needs liquid pesticide or fertilizer spraying, the "without RevoCast" version covers that at a lower cost.
  • Spraying + Spreading: If you also handle seeding, granular fertilizer, or pellet-based treatments, RevoCast adds that capability to the same drone.
3

What do the "B" and "C" numbers in the kit names mean?

Every kit name includes a battery and charger count — these numbers directly affect how much ground you can cover in a day.

  • B = Batteries: For example, "6B4C" means the kit includes 6 batteries and 4 chargers.
  • More Batteries: Let your operator keep flying while other batteries charge — reducing downtime between flights.
  • C = Chargers: More chargers mean batteries recharge faster and in parallel — important when running multiple flights back-to-back in a single day.
  • Why It Matters: For operations with tight spraying windows (weather-dependent tasks), a higher B/C count significantly increases your effective daily coverage.
4

What is the Swarm 28KW 8B8C Kit and who is it for?

The Swarm kit is built for coordinated, multi-drone operations rather than a single unit.

  • Multi-Drone Operation: Multiple P150 Max units fly and spray in sync, controlled from a single setup.
  • Fleet-Level Power: 28KW total output and 8 batteries / 8 chargers reflect a fleet configuration, designed to cover significantly more area per day than a single drone.
  • Best For: Large farms, agricultural cooperatives, and drone service providers who spray for multiple clients and need to maximize coverage during peak season.
  • Coordinated Coverage: Swarm flights automatically reduce overlap and gaps between drones, so coverage stays consistent even across very large fields.
5

What's included in a kit, and what else might you need?

Each kit comes with the core components to get started, but most operations grow into a few additional items over time.

  • Included: The drone(s), the listed batteries and chargers, and the core components needed to begin spraying or spreading operations.
  • Spare Parts & Accessories: Available in our dedicated XAG P150 Max Accessories and Spare Parts collections as your fleet grows or components need replacing.
  • Flight Planning: Operators typically also need an AutoPilot Console for flight planning and field mapping — check our AutoPilot Console collection if you don't already have one.
  • Not Sure What You Need? Our team can review your full setup and let you know if anything else is needed before your first season.
